Lighting detolfs with wireless lights and magnets?

I’ve been thinking of upgrading my lights and eliminating cords. I’ve come across some decent, slim and bright wireless puck lights and am wondering if i can use magnets to attach them on the tops of my detolfs so there wouldn’t be be any mounting/taping etc. while also eliminating cords.

Simple magnet on the top of the detolf and another 3M’d to a light on the opposite on the inside.

Has anyone tried this?

These actually comes with a magnet embedded behind it. Though the light is fairly weak, and battery only lasts couple days max with it on constantly. With a medium strong magnet it's doable with the Ikea glass.
