I don't know what a Dewback is 'supposed' to look like. Weren't they introduced by Lucas with the OT SE's? I try to ignore the revisions as much as possible. In any case, I think that statue is very impressive, not just for it's size, but look at that beautiful paint application! The whole process must have taken months to complete with hundreds of man hours.

Makes me start to wonder why SS hasn't done a Sandtrooper on Dewback like GG.
Imagine a 1/4 scale Dewback.

Accurate or not that thing is unbelievably cool!
A damn fine sculpt and paint job, it looks very lifelike.

He did a Dewback-Mix. Which i think has turned out great.
He copied the first Dewback head from ANH (Theatrical Release not SE). Therefore the hair and the different look. Same for the front of the saddle.
The rest of the Dewback has been copied from the Gentle Giant version (which bases on the Prequel Trilogy Dewbacks, you can see one of them walking behind Qui Gon in one of the Tatooine scenes or at the Podrace).
So the thin legged big round headed SE version was (luck) not used here. I think the Hasbro 3 3/4 one is the only one in that ugly style.

Cripes, people. NOTHING made from scratch replicated is EVER 100% accurate.

That thing looks amazing. I say if you can do it better, show us, otherwise don't say anything at all. That thing looks amazing!

I have to be the nerd and say that face is kinds off, but that's still one damn impressive thing.

I would also agree about the face, and you know what? I am so a big nerd this this the only place I feel normal....Good eye.
