Took the family to see this today. It was pretty good. I liked the first one and this was a good sequel..

I cant help but see Jack Black acting out the scenes while he does the voice work, in my head. Makes me laugh every time.

Just got back from the theater. Love it! 8.5/10 for me! Really enjoyed it esp. the voice performance of Gary Oldman! Just amazing!

I liked the first one well enough but wasn't blown away by it. But I was very impressed with this one. Much more an action film with depth and character than the comedy of the original.

Saw this today and though I really liked it, I prefered the first one. Only 8 people in the theater as well.
