Update:
The Kickstarter is live!
Eon Quest 5.5'' Collectible Action Figures by Jon Wesley Huff — Kickstarter
Hello fellow toy lovers! I'm extremely excited to announce to you my new line of action figures, Eon Quest!
5.5'' tall, with 6POA, Series 1 is coming to Kickstarter in October. All this week on Facebook/Twitter I'm revealing one of the five figures in Series 1. I also just showed off the key art featuring a look at the heroes of the line.
Here's the graphic for reveal week (the remaining figures are all villains, therefor not pictured above):
And here are the characters revealed so far:
Starbreaker
Last of the Gammerons
Thousands of years ago, the Gammerons were the mightiest beings in the Ninth Galaxy, and worshipped as gods by many planets. Then, suddenly, they were struck by a terrible affliction that wiped out nearly their entire race. Only Starbreaker managed to escape being infected. Starbreaker wandered the cosmos, alone and haunted by his failure to save his people, until he was recruited to lead Lord Eon’s team of heroes. Nearly indestructible, but not immortal, Starbreaker can survive the vacuum of space and is incredibly strong. He wields the Starhammer, a powerful weapon forged in the fires of the Gammeron home world. In keeping with Gammeron tradition, his weapon is chained to his arm—a constant reminder that beings with such power should temper their might, or be consumed by it.
Uplink
Technopath of the Gradius Cluster!
Uplink hails from a highly planned, structured utopian project called the Gradius Cluster. The Cluster consists of seven independent, artificial worlds and is home to over twenty different species. The homogenized culture of the Cluster has largely rejected technology except for the most basic functions of supporting life in space. This meant that when, at a young age, Uplink discovered he could directly interface with and control any technological system, he became something of an outcast. Although he eventually won the respect of his people, he jumped at the chance of leaving the Cluster behind and joining the team Lord Eon was assembling. Uplink carries with him a self-designed Multi-hacker. Although it has some limited defensive capabilities, the main purpose of this tool is to help him infiltrate technological systems without the need for a direct interface, as using his powers can carry some unusual side effects when done too frequently.
