Kenner 1/6 Speeder Bike and Scout weathering

LOl I ended up building 22 of the little chaps in total of which I only have 3 and a half left
The first batch were given away a and the rest were sold or traded. But I hated selling them. Can't stand all that.

You could make one, just get some styrene and get cracking.

Yea..the Hasbro one isnt bad that came with it once you weather him up a bit...but it could be alot better.

Very nice painting indeed.It's amazing just how much a new paint job,detailing,weathering,etc can make the overall look of a piece really stand out.

Hello folks,
now there has been a few threads on Speeder bike repaints, and rather than start a new one I thought I would add to what is here already.


So Our good forum chum, Darthgothikus, sent me a few gifts (just cos is that kindo guy) and one of them was a speeder bike.

Now those of you who know me know I love speeder bikes and I love Scout troopers and would gladly have an army of scouts. And a while back ChibiSchmoo sent me a trooper (one of my fav figures)

So to pay homage to DG and Chibi...
I have started on the speeder bike.

This was it either today.

Still got a way to go and some more detailing. then all the steering to go on but its getting there. It's just nice to have a rest from the Falcon for a bit.

That Scout looks pretty damn spot on, props. I love the gloves on him. any idea where he got them when he reworked him??

The trooper is v cool. He pooped him on a new bod and chopped down the body armour. The gloves are bendy ones with a leather cuff he made... so love this figure. I finally got the courage to start to weather him.....
