JAWSFEST was great. I met a lot of great people out there and LOVED visiting all the film locations.

In all honesty I did not do a ton of official JAWSFEST stuff. Most of what I did was visit JAWS film locations. I was my first time on the island and I really wanted to see these areas.

I did do a JAWS tour bus thing which was cool. Even cooler was I got to play bouncer and kick some people off who did not pay for tickets

I did not really care to attend the autograph sessions. First it cost 30 bucks to get in and then another 20 per autograph. Personally I just don't care that much about getting someone to sign something for me unless it is someone big like Steven S. himself or Roy S or Robert S. if they were still alive. Even then I don't think I would pay 20.00 bucks....Ok perhaps for Chief Brody's and Quint's

I got to meet Mike Scultz, who makes all the Bruce maquettes. He is a great guy and I had a blast talking to him. I also got to meet the artist of the plaque I posted, Bill Wieger and famed marine/JAWS artist Paul Mcphee. All were great down to earth guys.

Another big highlight was meeting F/X artist Greg Nicotero. He was really great to talk to. Got to hang with him on my first and second day there. We chatted for about 40 min on the second day and talked about the special items on display that he created for this years JAWSFEST. Just a great guy and a fan like the rest of us. No ego at all.

I did not get to see everything I wanted (Brody's Home and the Billboard area) and I did not get the shots at the right angles. Thought I could do it from memory but I could not. I put some photos from the film to compare with my photos.

Anyways here we go.

The Town HAll that we see the Mayor come out of. Also where Brody, Mayor walk down to meeting room and Quint scratches the chalk Board.

There was a real meeting going on in that room so I could not get in to take photos But I did get the hall that they walk down

The Tiger Shark scene was filmed in the distance and I believe this is the area we first meet Hooper. Not the same dock but same area.
