No worries. Of all the BlackBox Bond sets, I think the likeness on the Day of the Dead one is better than the others (other than the sheen of the plastic which can be dulled). It's weird, considering the sculpt appears to be the same as the previous necked versions. :huh

I think some of them were a little squished, I know mine was. I heated it till it looked right and reset it under cold water.

My Bond (Non Macro) 0001.JPG

Freshly un-squished and still damp there.

Thank you everyone for the info.
I hope to share pictures of my restart of collecting soon, but unfortunately real life has intervened. I've found out my aunt has got the coronavirus and was given a few day at most, and to top it off we can't go see her.

Anyways..please be safe.

Hi everyone, I do hope everyone is doing fine.
Just wanted to share my work in progress, its nothing fancy like most of you guys have. But I like it.

On a side note, my aunt is still in ICU, she's responding a little bit. Still not out of the wood.

Anyway, please stay safe.

Nice Bond,

Not an easy time for you, but, hang in there and take it day by day.

Is that 1/18 Aston the Hotwheels one?

Thank you very much.
Just trying to keep my mind busy.

So what I have is the
Danbury Mint 1/24 Diecast Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger.

I'm looking for the hot wheels one. Once all this is over with.

I'm actually waiting on a delivery tomorrow, will be posting pictures.

That's not bad actually. The DB5 body seems a tough one to nail, Chrono did a nice one, which was later redone by Sunstar, but neither did a Bond version. AutoArt did Bond versions, but the roof line was off. Both Ertl and Hotwheels did Bond ones, but, they looked a bit cheap when it came to the finish. If you could somehow put Autoart gadgets onto a Chrono body you'd have a pretty nice version.

Hi everyone, so this came in the mail.
Dynamite comic casino royale and live and let die. Both are an awesome read, I recommend buying em. They are basically based off the books, not the movies.
And also got the "water bottle"

Sorry to hear about your Aunt,

I seem to remember BBKill was doing sculpts, as was Beastmaster. As far as I know, Beastmaster didn't release anything and I'm not sure what BBKill is up to now.
