Is it safe to use canned air to dust figures?

I use a brush first then the canned air as a clean up to get the really delicate areas. Sorry, I probably should have said that in my first post.

those static hand towels work better then anything else in my opinion. it grabs all the dust and holds it. does not just blow it around. also do not inhale those duster can or you will end up on Intervention.:lol:lol

Awesome! It's great to know this stuff as my figures are not behind glass and our house has an open fireplace - muchos dustos. I'll go the static hand towel option as grabbing the dust does sound better than just blowing it someplace else.

Do peeps really use scotch tape on 1/6 clothing?

Would that not weather it?

scotch tape, if it's the same everywhere, is pretty adhesive isn't it? So yes it would remove dust but it may also leave sticky residue on cloth. Might be ok for more robust fabrics, but say, a King Leonidas or Vader cape? Not so sure...

Nah, scotch tape doesn't leave any residue. Works just like a lint roller. I literally wrap it around my finger in reverse and use it like a lint roller.

That said, I'm pretty sold on the canned air for most dusting. :)
