newer pics on fb from collectors who love him. no issues whatsoever. I plan to grab this guy down the road. great take on punisher in my opinion.

my darth vader and war machine would disagree with you.

Exactly... People seem to want them to fail... Its weird.. They have had two major issues.. The Spider Man 1/4 scale and this Punisher. Spider man because of the materials used for the base and Punisher because of possible packaging issues.

Most other releases have been fantastic.

.

They also went back and increased the edition size on their Age of Ultron Cap and Iron Man (by close to an extra 50%, IIRC), did they not?

Cap had an extra 181 pieces made for their Australian distributors. Iron Studios claimed they didn’t think having two separate ES’s would be such a huge deal and it wouldn’t happen again. Still it put a bad taste in a lot of collectors mouths.

This Punisher is fantastic in hand. I'm sorry for the people who are having issues with theirs, but this is a statue I will never part with. It's that good.

Iron Studios = trash

I've got plenty of their MCU pieces, and most of them are far from trash (12x 1/4's (including duplicates), 8x 1/6's and too many 1/10 scales). Some of the best movie related pieces in the last 5 years. Putting plenty of Sideshow's movie offerings to shame.

However dependant on this Punisher piece, their comic line is possibly on shaky ground.

i just got mine today and its unbelievable awesome! pictures and videos wont do it justice it really looks amazing and i have no issues..... so much options and details just wow!

The face paint looks a bit flat and like pvc somehow

If you're not used to it, like a lot of comic based statue collectors are, most of Iron Studios pieces use some sort of translucent resin (larger scales) or some sort of plastic like materials for their headsculpts (1/10 etc) and other areas that show skin etc. As most of their pieces are movie based this is imo the best route to go, as it is 'usually' much easier to capture actor likenesses and skin complections etc, but I know some comic collectors find it off putting.

Not for the faint of heart! Leg was broken clean off :thud: As well as broken lens cap and pouch :slap

Im on the verge of hitting the order button, this is my fav version of Punisher even over the Sideshow version, only problem is all the issues people having with it,, including rubber hands, wont they deteriorate over time

I must've been blind before when I saw proto pics ...because I didn't know the straps around his legs and waist are already an off-white or grayish color. That looks great to me. I'm pleasantly surprised by it.

Mine arrived today, Luckily no damage! He is awesome so glad I ordered him. Here are a few quick crappy cellphone pics.
