Iron Giant Figure by Mondo

Always wanted one. I guees I'll cave in and buy the exclusive 12.5" figure with the longest possible payment plan, given the figure will release on Semptember.

I cannot say if the new version has light up features. It's not stated anywhere but in some close-ups it seems like the eyes are lit.

I think it's either inserts or snap-ons... Was wondering about it myself.

I heard that too but I haven't received an email or anything. I was sending it to my work which has a skeleton crew, hopefully the secretary lets me know when it gets there.

I don't know if I'm sold. Seems rather plasticky looking and a little wobbly. Plus I am worried about the neck and waist area, as they seem to be made of rubber. Also there are visible screws on the back of the figure and the inside of the hip joints. Expected more from a 200$ figure, but I'll see it in hand.

Got my Exclusive edition in today.

No real complaint on my end. The matte finish on him matches how I envision Iron Giant so it doesn't really bother me. I don't think giving it some kind of shiny metal finish like how Sideshow did their statue is the way to go about it. Mondo did a good job.

Articulation is great, no joints are loose on mine and he poses really well. Will do some more poses and shots later but this is how I have him now.
