Just a random proposal.... but I do not see me throwing down the money to purchase this piece... however... if one of you who does pick this up is willing to loan the belt and hoster out to me for about 3-4 weeks, I will build you a free custom set of a real leather belt and holster... will need them to make templates in order to build subsequent custom sets... just a thought...

Mike, if I was getting this piece, I would be all over that. As big an Indy fan as I am, I just don't think I can justify dropping $2000 for this guy.

My custom ROTLA Premium Format will have to satisfy my 'large-scale' Indy need I'm afraid. We'll see though. If this piece is jaw-dropping incredible, I may need to rethink.

Of the two released both had significant issues... the Wolf had additional netting that is innaccurate and Maul has an oversized saber hilt.

0 for 2 in the perfection at 2K movement. Not to mention the paint work really doesn't seem to be any better that what we've seen on recent PFs and statues from Sideshow

I'm with you guys about the price. Without selling a kidney or getting a divorce, I can't justify this at this price. I got my wife's blessing about the 500 Indy on the horse to my surprise and still feel guilty about that. When 500 can go into a major car or appliance repair, it just seems ridiculous. 2,000...can't even comprehend. I MIGHT spend that total in a year on these damn collectibles.

Yeah the paint work remaining at current PF levels is what has surprised me the most.

Not that paint work is shocking on PF's but for 5-6 times the price, its not too much to ask for it be of a higher quality....

It's not like they're selling thousands of these things. It's a high-end specialty item. If they did that, I guarantee more folks would take the plunge.

100% agree. Unfortunately in SSC's business model, they don't think this way. They look at the legendary scale as just a bigger, more expensive PF. If they looked at this like the highest end collectible, they should have their in-house guys on them. Do they farm out the 1:1's to the paint sweatshops too? I mean for 5000 or whatever they are I'd expect a SSC artist painting it or hire my own to do something.

The 1:1 Vader swap-out head was pretty nice... but clearly not anywhere near the quality level of the proto that was shown. Not to mention I had to get a replacement and the 2nd head actually had a much better paint job than the first one

It doesn't come through as well in photos, but the head on the right was so much nicer looking than the one on the left.
