But that simply is not the case?

This appears to be a very fair thread. People liking HT, people LOVING HT, people hating InArt, people liking InArt.

I have the HT. Modded it. Love it. Have the InArt premium on order and can’t wait.
Exactly that's not the case. Maybe I am the one and maybe another guy said that the sculpt didn't look good. Everyone else were praising it like anything. Just see the general reaction under Inart's posts and Facebook and Reddit. It is mostly negative. Only here it is overwhelmingly positive. The same is going on here in the Jack Sparrow thread where people are trying to justify their artisan figure and coping

Fair enough, you are allowed to be worried. I don't get why people talking about a premium collectible has you "worried", but to each their own. Enjoy your anxiety and perfect brand centrist opinions.

Waiting for collector's pics to see hair and clothing futzed.
Because I have Superman on PO and I want a better product. Probably the Dark Knight and the Wonder woman too in the future. The fact that I can't accept mediocre likeness for what I am paying? If there is no complaints and just praises, Inart will become just like Hot Toys. Taken for granted and a lazy company

I think the bashing is kinda self inflicted without sounding like a dbag.

Not only have they shown incredible promo then shown a not on par promo, they've taken the worst angle pics! At least put out good shots of the figure from different angles right?

Will say I didn't realise he was that bulky either! This will be interesting, I do look forward to seeing the unboxing video.

But again, at least from what I’ve seen, that’s not the case?

I don’t have Facebook and don’t use Reddit. But here at least, I feel people are being fair. We’ve had some bad photos of production pieces and people are concerned for the most part. Some people are holding out hope it’s just bad photos. But still; fair.

Equally I don’t see that in the artisan sparrow thread. I was lucky enough to score one and simply can’t wait. Feel it looks amazing (outside of the horrendous HT solicitation photos).

Then yeah you wouldn't have seen the negativity. Yeah anyway these difference of opinions/arguments is what keeps this thread going and interesting.

I will reserve my final judgement for the review from Breda and Justin.

It is simple for me. If Inart cowl looks better than HT, I will sell my HT and get Inart one. If it is not, i buy a custom collar and mod my HT. Also I would love to see your mods.

All good man and completely understand that. 👍🏻

I won’t bog down this thread but my modded figure is in the collar/modification thread.

I’m with you as well. But imo, the majority actually don’t. Especially on Facebook where you had tons of people say things to same effect like “who cares about the Spidey mask debacle, who isn’t displaying it with the Tobey sculpt?”

But yeah, I agree with you. This is a Batman figure and part of what makes this costume character design special is the cowl itself, which is how we usually see him in the fil anyway. Which is why I got the Standard set, and will probably snap a quick pic of the sculpted hair portrait on it during my unboxing and back to the box it’ll go and stay there lol.
Batman always with cowl for me.

I will use the non-cowl head for the Topo drifter set.

I am more hyped now for when the cowl pictures get shown based on their final images.

The Bruce Wayne eyes looks like it’s more consistent to the cowled headsculpt brighter eyes from last event. So we can assume the eyes will the same for the cowl. (My speculation) or they will surprise us and now only the cowl will have a darker iris.

Overall eyes look good, not too dark or bright. I really hope the cowls nose gets adjusted longer and having the stubble like their final BW is icing on the cake.

Sculpt looks the same honestly but hard to really tell with the difference in camera angle. Won't know until we get a better straight on shot.

Have to say, the pore detailing that they kept through production looks really nice there. Almost like there's barely a downgrade in smoothness.

I dig it and it's nice to see a little of what the final product is. Can't say I got overly excited when seeing the post though.

Looking forward to the unboxing and review vids and the comparisons with Hot Toys in particular,
I struggle sometimes with seeing the little details so it will be cool to have a direct comparison.
What I see impresses me tbh on both the sculpted and the rooted heads - but maybe I am easier to please or less observant on changes/discrepancies etc.
Frankly I think both companies have produced fine figures.

Still considering whether to keep my order with @Kit Chen as the premium or change to the standard, not because of any fears about the final product, but simply due to finances and questioning if I need this figure to be rooted.
@Kit Chen - if I were to ask to swap my premium pre-order desposit to the standard would that be possible?

Sculpt looks the same so far I agree, (probably just a new angle?) the eyes are tricky to make conclusions since it’s always 100% affected by lighting, but I agree I’m loving the pore detail here.

The stubble and skin texture looks fantastic.
His beefier, heroic portions (and that inexplicably essential line of stitching) are also great to see.

My only real concern was that he’d turn out too slim. That’s definitely not the case now.

Can’t wait for the first well-lit (not you, Justin) unboxing video.

You mean you don’t want to see this ‘standing straight up and down in the light box, no crazy poses or accessories’?

I swear the weird robotic salesman quality of that mans voice has affected me to the point where even reading his scripted lines can give me Vietnam flashbacks despite that conflict ending two decades before my birth......
