I was also between this and IS but went with IS because of pose and a little too much snow on the base (and feet on production pieces) for my liking. Great statue though, they did a great job with the painting and weathering.

Looks great. I don't know how I feel about the snow booties, though. They look so uniform, and wouldn't heat melt it off somewhat.

Haha snow booties, showed this to my wife, she also thought it looked like socks or snow booties.

For those of you complaining about the snow on the boots, take a look at the photos below after the fix ;)

It's really easy to do, as i said the snow are actual fake snow flakes stuck on the boots, all it need to be done is take a hard brush and goto work.

You can remove as much as you want to a level you like. I think IA is also changing it on the factory side as well so it doesn't put as much snow. No more snow boots lol...

The perfect iron man :) especially like this pose i have in the photo below, everytime i look at this it bring a smile to my face, the amount of details and craftsmanship is so good!

Yes, much, much better. Just my personal taste, I would brush off a little more.
The snow boots were a good laugh though. :)

Nice job, looks so much better!

An IA fan customize the snow by "transfer" them from feet to body as well... look cool!

I have the half scale Mark 42 from IA and had a lot of paint issues. But this one looks amazing. W

Hi everyone, for anyone who owns this piece, could you please let me know whether or not the light up feature works with batteries as well as with the ac adaptor, or only with the ac adaptor? Thanks everyone!
