I don't think it's fake,that ain't Marvel...Anyway I would buy using eBay,forget about saving 50 bucks,you have more protection using eBay.

I have been going through a similar phase myself lately, as this happens to be one of my personal grails and I have come across one in a very good price.
From what I gathered, the recasts do not have a numbered base and a black color box with the shiny SCII logo on the side.
I wouldn't cut off my hand, but from the above pictures, yours seems to be legit...
