Yeh, I sanded down the chest and neck and added a Takara cape. It's from wave one.

I pre-ordered this from an Ebay seller and I asked him when he would be getting it in the other day and he didn't know. So I could possibly be waiting for it until the Spring.

While posing the Batman figure for more pictures, the left hip broke off.

As shown in the bottom picture, the joint is apparently hollow, usually indicating a casting flaw. I tried placing a regular True Type body in the Bat Suit, but it's a bit too large, stretching the rubber too much. Hopefully Hot Toys will respond to my e-mail, it seems their ability to help can be a bit hit or miss at times.

Any one have any tips on taking apart a True Type body? I'm thinking of replacing the broken hip joint with one from a TT, but unscrewing the leg halves won't seperate them. Are the limbs glued together as well?

I have a few hot toys bodies around and I've thought about taking one apart just to see how they're put together. I think they might snap together by what the top of the shoulder looks like.

I guess it depends on how often one does extreme posing, and continually does so.

i think he changed bodies or he broke a leg and replaced it i remember him saying he had to sand a TT body leg to get it to look right

ok i found who it was mpchi who fixed their leg on TDK but it was the lower part of the leg

Ok so I got a takara cape in the mail today from which one of the great individuals on this board sold me and all I have to say is wow. it Drastically improves the figure.

good luck seriously. Try the boards here, thats what I did. Trust me it was well worth it. But I had to dish out 60 big ones for it.
