I've seen the paunch in every set of pictures shown so far.

Properly futzed, the abs look fine.

It does look better there but, unfortunately I can see it there too.

Here's another shot from that same set:

I clearly see something odd going on with the stomach.

It's as if the belt is too tight in every picture so far. It looks like it's squeezing his guts outward.

It's basically the rubber plating on the suit. I was able to see Bale wearing the suit up close in person and it bends and folds around the groin/legs and stomach when he, the actor, moves. I think it was similar on the DX12 as well. I'm sure with a little bit of patience, you can mask it so it doesn't bulge as much, but it is in fact a suit and not a part of his body so it will bend/fold here and there. Still a great figure though!

I have never seen a single picture, regardless of pose, where the DX12 abs bulged like that. And I'm seeing it in perfectly erect poses with this figure.

To me it looks like the belt buckle pushes against the abdomen creating the bulge.
Is the belt on too tight?

The ab plates bends a bit when you try to put him on the Batpod. I ended up fixing it so mine doesn't appear anymore. I'm sure this won't be a big issue as there are other pictures where he is standing upright and it looks just fine.

I think it's as simple as futzing it to make it look perfect. None too concerned with it at all to be honest. I think these photographers quickly threw these pics together and didn't even bother to adjust things.

Did anyone hear about the huge typhoon about to hit Hong Kong? That's probably gonna put a damper on some of the shipments of this figure coming out of there .

Exactly.

In this pic, the belt seems to be so tight that not only is it causing the belly to push out, but it's actually making the bottom rib angle up wildly from the pressure:

Well Maglor, when you get the figure, you'll probably modify the figure to reduce the paunch. So please do a tutorial for us

:lol

Hopefully it comes and goes uneventfully. Not just so we can get our figures but also so that nobody is hurt.

If the belt is a bit tight, it's an easy fix, just do the twisty tie trick in the back like the EB belt. Case closed. Thank me later. :wink1:

It does look like it's just the armor pushing out and not the body of the figure. I'm sure it's an easy fix, no need to cause a panic :panic: :wink1:

The paunch? Oh come on guys, you're making a mountain out of a mole hill. This is battle armour, not a skin tight leotard. Certain parts are going to stick out. Most likely for durability .. When you wear any type of armour (soft body armour, ballistic vest) you need the stomach to be loose for when you sit down so you can expand for comfort. ;)

Really want to pick up two of these but at $500+ with shipping and tax it really hurts. Wanted to display one with BW HS and backpack. O well I guess I'll just do it the old fashioned way and change poses every so often

:exactly: At least that's what toys are made for: playing around with. I love that The Chev is having so much fun posing his DX11 and DX12 figures, my thought: exactly what the figures are for in the first place. :yess:
