I just used a black primer in a spray can ( Rustoleum brand . I wouldn't use metallic paints, it will make the fabric go hard and crispy . instead , if your looking for that sheen, I suggest once the primer dies , get a soft cloth and buff in areas.

Idealy what would be great is if the body underneath was chrome , so that chrome look appears through the fabric. Sadly it isn't possible, due to even if you had chrome on it , the suit would rub it away .

Isn't the suit in BvS, while not black, a bit darker in certain areas? I think StewMurray talks about it in one of his YouTube videos.
