My Gordon just came in the standard Hot Toys brown shipper box (With the new Hot Toys tape sealing it) and inside was a clear plastic bag sealing the main figure box. You got yours with a shipper box on the outside of all of that...without paying for packout??

Yep, no packout option.

It was sent in a larger box. The Hot Toys mailer brown box was fresh without any postage sheets. It was sealed (with that new green Hot Toys "fresh" tape label and the actual figure box was wrapped in plastic as opposed to the tissue paper.

That's one thing I love about going with retailers other than SS. The brown shipper is placed within a box, leaving it undamaged and protecting my figure better. Also, I don't have to worry about the package being left on my porch showing HT logos and directly listing the contents of my package on the outside of it for all to see (and potentially steal).

Got my DX12's delivered yesterday. Turns out my old DX02 backpack fits fine into the new body. The new Bale sculpt is in my opinion much more accurate than the ToyFair sculpt.

In hand, the DX12 is a much needed improvement, particularly with its increased articulation. Admittedly, I am not a "hardcore" accuracy nut, but the DX12 issues noted before like the center bat symbol alignment are not so bad once you actually look at it in your hands.

DX12 definitely has some thunder thighs going on and coupled with the smaller chest he looks more like a pear shaped woman than a beefy crime fighter.

The googly eyes are in part due to the eye lids edges being pinker and making the eye sockets appear larger than the dx02. Yes he looks absolutely ridiculous with the eyes straight forward and the smiling face plate. I usually put the eyes looking slightly up with the head slightly down and it looks fine...problem solved

Overall a great figure, not as sweet as the dx07 luke, but an awesome figure nonetheless.

So maybe the DX12 is the Bats coming out of the closet version
a definitive pass for me

BBTS did this for me with Nick Fury. Arrived in perfect shape without having to request a replacement box.

this is why you need another cowl complete with better faceplates and another set of boots, or maybe is more lens distortion

Cowl looks fine there. And yes, lens distortion is making the already skinny ankles look even skinnier.

Are you using a camera with optical zoom? Try backing up and zooming in. That will eliminate the lens distortion.

The one that Kato is doing, its like $500 so you might want to remortgage or something before getting it.

Yeah that Kato suit looks sick! I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I could afford it (and if my wife wouldn't kill me for spending $500 on a man-doll suit)...but for those of us with less than hefty wallets...I bought the medicom suit and futzed it until it looked pretty darn good IMO
