$45 to ship? Odd, my flex email quoted me $25.
That is odd, by any chance did you get the $10.00 pack up option? I also went with the quickest shipping option hoping less damage time. For those who pick this option - No air bubble packs, just brown paper wraps and the outer box was damaged. The brown shipper had a slight ding which also led to a small corner dent on the actual box. Obviously FedEx tosses these boxes around and it got crushed slightly. I could only imagine what would have happened without the option.

1-EX is Sideshow Exclusive
2-Sideshow only supplies about 1/3 the requested orders from my local store. I understand the strategy behind limiting retailers a short supply of a high demand item from one controlling supplier. However as a consumer I don't think I would make too many purchases from Sideshow due to the customs duties being charged here in comparison to sellers from Asia. If the retailers were supplied efficiently, i wouldn't have to pay for duties and shipping just the tax.
Damn Canadian custom/shipping agents. Anything shipped by UPS, USPS, FedEX is almost ALWAYS black flagged here to sway Canadians not to purchase from Americans or use their courier services. This information was leaked to me from a worker who works for the Canadian postal head office. Never had to pay duty/custom fees through EMS.

I have my DX11 setup next to my DX12, but this is what I did with the dio and laughing sculpt...
