Hot Toys - MMS DX 11 - TDK: The Joker 2.0 Collectible Figure specs and pics

Hello, I'm stoker040 a bit new to this forums but I have a few questions for some people that live in Europe and shipped something from Sideshow, what the shipping costs exactly are.

I need to know some things about Shipping on the Sideshow site before I do so, I asked their helpdesk but they are keeping spamming me with a site I don't understand.

So I want to pre-order the Joker 2.0 Exclusive, the price itself is $275,00 + $25,00 Shipping costs to The Netherlands they said. But now I'm very afraid of extra costs at the door or something seeing on this site from Sideshow

it shows my country has 19% VAT rate and 5-20% Duty costs? So they add 19% and then another 5-20% plus you never know what other boarder line costs will be added. So I'm afraid that if I pre-order one for $300 (Costs itself + $25 Shipping) I will need to pay another $200 at my door itself!

So maby one of you know how those costs will end up because I dont want to be ripped of $500 at my house door. And as latst is there any section on the forums where I can post questions like this because I'm really confused.

I think the HT sculpt IS Adam's.

The two look quite identical, wrinkle for wrinkle. I think the HT proto has much better paint though.

Do the DX's get special treatment and a faster production timeline than the standard MMS figures?

At 1/4 fabric and leather will look more in scale and will tend to lay better with less futzing.

Less futzing sure but not that it can't be done.

I wonder who HT is going to do in 1/4 from TDKR. Batman for sure but do you think anyone else? TDK Batsuit is going to be sick looking in 1/4.

Man. I was really ready to skip this in anticipation for DKR figures and finally getting the Batpod and possibly the Tumbler.

But both sculpts as well as all the accessories really make it a must buy. The worst thing is I don't really want to sell my DX1 since I'll need to display both headsculpts. Still not the biggest fan of the PERS version but that laughing one is just too great to pass up.

Along with the Batman v2 and all the Rises figures I'm going to be dropping a ton over the next year.

As I remember Superman & Captain America shipped in November 2011.

No, it's a different sculpt - I can spot plenty of differences and in any case, there is no way they could have got hold of one.

That being said it is clear it's their best attempt at copying it.

Adam has a couple more sculpts underway at the moment, that laughing sculpt represents his skill 2-3 years ago. HT just caught up
