Thx bro! :hi5:

Actually, Danielle's husband(?) Zack (Mayor VonPoopenpants) did mine. She may have helped, not sure.

I really love it. The greasy shine, the brown roots - it all feels so much more real than the stock sculpted hair.

Welcome me to the my PERS is broken club. Yes, the PERS on my DX Joker is broken, and this is the second time. It first broke the second day I got it last year. The local distributor was kind enough to send it back to HT for me but the replacement took months.

Now the PERS is broken again and this is like only the fifth time I have been adjusting the eyes.

Knowing that there is no way HT will replace them again for me, I decided to take it apart to see if I can fix it and fix it I did. But this is not a permanent fix. Due to a mold flaw, this will only break again one day. They molded the slot for the eyes a little to small for the Joker. Hence the very unsmooth movement.

Repeated movement causes stress to the system and the hinges will crack and broke. On mine, one broke and another already cracked.

Next time it breaks again, I am just doing to convert it to like ETB eyes. Letting move individually. Seems easy enough with the right tools.

the Pers broke on mine. I took all the black bits out and just have to adjust the eyes by using the eye stalks.

my only problem with it is that it looks like Joker just got his hair cut. It all look so even.

Thanks for the feedback Gipetto. There may be things I could do to messy it up a bit or give it some varying length, but honestly, I'm pretty content with the way it is. The thing with Heath's hair throughout the film was how varied the lengths were:

Zack worked up mine to be more in line with his longer hair, the mob meeting scene and the scene in front of the burning money...scenes where his hair is a bit more uniform in length.

Made some more changes. I blame Bobby C with his awesome work, and the fact that I'm a perfectionist. <a href="https://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a207/JustD1016/hot%20toys/?action=view&current=joker002.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a207/JustD1016/hot%20toys/joker002.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="https://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a207/JustD1016/hot%20toys/?action=view&current=joker005.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a207/JustD1016/hot%20toys/joker005.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

:huhI know this is a tall order but anyone know where i can get this guy without it costing me a small fortune? I obviously missed the boat on him when he was cheaper. Thanks!

Thanks!! It's about the best I can do with the DX head. I think the only way to do better is to do what Bobby C did and start from scratch. This is the sixth time I've redone his hair, I think I'm developing OCD over his damn hair. LOL. I'm thinking about getting an extra cop head and doing the same thing.

The only thing I could recommend is pushing his hair in the back down a bit. But still, your work on this is great. I really love the DX head, and your hair compliments it so nicely.

.....Do you take commissions? :)
