That's my only problem with this Batman figure. The PERS panel. It's never flush with the head.

The headsculpt is literally perfect but then they had to jack up the profile and back with a wonky panel. There had to have been another way.

It's ironic too because, to date, this is the best PERS on a DX figure in terms of looks and function. As dumb as the panel is, it's not enough to not get the figure. Everything else is fantastic. The articulation, the suit, the headsculpt, everything.

:exactly::goodpost: that is the only thing keeping this figure from absolute perfection. Not near enough to not get it, but a let down all the same.

Is it really that way on all the figures? Damn disappointing. Seems like some people got ones that sit nice and flush for their side views.

Well you can make it flushed on the sides, but then the top seam on the top of the head is off.

You can't really win.

I got my second one and it was perfectly flush on all sides. Looked really good. Of course, I had to be a dumb ass to test the PERS (I don't know why, but I have this OCD where I've got to make sure that nothing is wrong with any of my figures) and took the panel off.

The PERS was fine, I go to put the panel back on the head and now the damn thing is poking out again.

I'm surprised no one has commented on the most consistent flaw I've noticed on just about every figure I've seen a pic of in this thread...the bat symbol is twisted clockwise couple of degrees as it attaches to the cowl. :gah:

I mentioned this in another thread. When the Batman Returns figures is released I plan on using the Bruce Wayne head (if they include it) to make this,

Thanks. Yeah it would go great as a book end along with the First Night out/Survival Suit Begins Wayne.

It'll definitely be the 1st thing I do when a Returns Batman comes out. Put the head on the '89 suit, take off the cape, gauntlets and throw the belt over his shoulder.

Very cool idea. I'd actually consider doing that myself.

If we could get a form fitting, 1/6 or 1/4 Batman cowl that could do this. Man, that would be something.

I still say that any attempt to make a removable rubber cowl at 1/6 or even 1/4 is going to look like a Halloween mask. I mean it works good for a Michael Myers figure, but that's actually is a Halloween mask.

Yep! There's a single paper clip, centered in the back, holding the folds on both sides together. And I was able to hide it with the upper folds which is nice.

Genius! :lecture

I'm gonna squeeze this post in now before the next wave of new pics comes up. Here are the poses I have tried so far:

Last two are the same pose.

Very versatile figure. As much of a pain the cape is to work with, it's the main reason that this figure is so dynamic imo.

:lol Sorry. I've been wanting to do a "pose-suggestion gallery" of Superman and Batman for a while. I need to head over to the Spiderman thread as well...

Hey Mag. Quick question. How do u upload photos on the post without having to do attached thumbnails? I still can't figure it out. I posted pics on the batman collection thread and I can't do uploads like how u and the others upload. Any help would be appreciated.

And I have no idea how some of you attach thumbnails. :lol

To include a pic in a post, copy the "IMG" code from whatever image hosting site you use:

Then simply paste it directly into your post.

Definitely better than thumbnails. I honestly have gotten to lazy to even click on thumbnails, so if I'm gonna look at a pic it needs to be full size in a post.

Some of the best poses out there. This is one of the first you did and the one I copied for my display. As always, thanks for sharing your talented poses with us.

I have done my best to hide it from front view.

Anyway, I am not exchanging or dealing with any of that. I just believe there could have been better options for the PERS.:peace:)

Can't the cover be filed or sanded down to fit? Or even shaved with an exacto.
