The head maybe a tad underscaled alright, but not glaringly so.


The eyes are too large, which in turn is making them look too close together.

I was excited for this piece until I saw this pic

The eyes are so wrong; way too big, too close together, and the "pupil" is too small.

Saying all that, in comparison to the others, it's by far the best.

Interestingly, the Tamashii look awful when compared to the others...

Even despite its flaws I love the Tama.

It was mindblowing back then, and it still is impressive...

Amazing figure, no doubt. And back in the day it was mind blowing how good it was.

But with the side-by-side comparison photos of the actual suit (and as someone mentioned earlier) it really does look too skinny and not possible for a person to be inside.

The HT have really nailed the proportions. It's just the damn face that I can't see past now

Didn't hear, just noticing various retailers having PO pages for later this year. e.g. BBTS had previously sold out on this fig, then I noticed this page pop up:

That’s the original time frame for release .. it dropped very early From HT. Retailers have no reason to change the release date this way if its shows up later they are still covered from giving refunds for cancellations because it’s in the estimated timeframe. If they were to put it for April or May for delivery and it doesn’t show till June people can cancel and get their money back this way they’re hedging their bets.

This was one of the few figures that when i first opened it up made me go WOW, very impressive.
And despite it's flaws i still think the same. It looks like Daniels in the suit.

Like most figs you'll only see the flaws if you go looking for them.

It's still one of the greatest figures ever made, and a masterpiece of engineering.

I think you need to have owned one to really appreciate how great it is.

Anthony Daniels is 5’9”. Mark Hamill is 5’7”.

Yikes, cant really mod the height on 3po either I wouldn't think.

And Daniels has at least another inch (probably 1 1/2") to top of helmet "halo" above the top of his head.

I always thought 3PO in 1/6 needs to be about 11 3/4", or a smidge under.
