so, where did you order yours from. did it come from SS? if so, what was rough shipping charge for delivery. i saw BBTS just raised their price about $150, probably to account for the actual shipping over the $4 default.

Snagged mine on ebay for $930 and $40 shipping. Random ebay seller. The UPS tracking showed Sideshow oddly enough. lol

That looks great ! The difference in scale with the Hasbro gauntlet is absolutely staggering. This thing is almost half scale compared to the real thing.
Finally decided to go with the taurus studio gauntlet though.
Congrats on getting this absolute beast man. Great video review too.

Heads up, for those who waited, BBTS just raised their price from $929 with $4.00 shipping to $1,079 with $4.00 shipping.
(I would assume new price increase is to account for the shipping fee on such a large item.....

Rely a bummer. That price is really disuading me from getting this. Because I know if I ever need to sell it'll be a nightmare to ship. Hot Toys should either shipped it with the glove already mounted to the stand or even 2 boxes would've been less expensive probably. Or maybe have some assembly required.

Just checked in for a shipping quote on my order and it's that $150 from CA to Boston.

Even though I understand why it's so expensive to ship I can't believe it's that much

Sideshow told me it was over $200 to ship these via UPS ground and they were eating the extra cost.
Not sure if that is accurate, but I was told that yesterday.

While I understand why they don't want people coming to their warehouse on large items like this it seems like it would be beneficial to offer local people the opportunity to schedule a time and pick up their order

I think two boxes would be an utter nightmare. It's expensive, but I understand. This piece is not only heavy, but the box is massive.
