Hot Toys Afterlife Chris WIP

Hey guys, so i am about 50% of the way through my Chris from Resident Evil Afterlife and i have come to the soft goods and i am now at a stand still. As for his suit in the movie he wears a greyish colour set of Swat style BDUs. I can't seem to find something that fits that area on ebay, or other sites and am wondering: Can you fade black to grey? Or better yet would you just weather down a black outfit for the look in the film.


If so i was thinking of purchasing a cheap 1/6 scale Dragon swat figure at my local comic book store and using his BDUS. Thanks!

I would bleach it and then dye grey but remember the stitching could be syn. thread and won't bleach.

I wouldn't really mind if the stitching was black considering most of it wouldn't be visible. Any advise on bleaching such a small piece of clothing?
