the perils of being a scantily clad cosplayer ,having been a stallholder at these type of events for over 20 years and seen the rise of the cosplayer ,and some of the "socially awkward "males young and not so young that attend these events and gravitate towards the "glamour model "type of guest ,im surprised we don't see more of these things reported
LANARKSHIRE
A Batman fan slipped his hand into the pants of a woman dressed as the caped crusader's arch enemy 'Poison Ivy' as they posed for pictures at a comic book fair.
Mechanic William Hazlie, 29, groped the victim’s bottom at the ComiCon event at London’s Kensington Olympia, Hammersmith Magistrates Court heard.
As she tried to get out of the comic book pose they had adopted he put his hand down her green hot pants and squeezed.
The 24-year-old victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was covered in green body paint and wearing wreathes of ivy leaves as part of her costume.
Hazlie was arrested at the scene and taken to Fulham police station where told police he had put his hand on the woman’s buttocks because he slipped and was ‘maintaining his balance.’
Magistrate Angela Cahill told him said: ‘Mr Hazlie, we have heard the evidence given by you and the victim and we found her evidence to be compelling with a clear and consistent version of events. - See more at: News reports and pictures on London crown courts, General Medical Council and other courts
