HOBBIT Lobby Stand-up display

When FOTR came out in late 2001 , the official New Line site sold the theater lobby stand up that was seven feet tall and used the Moria gate as the theme. I gladly bought one and still have it.

I ever saw ones for TTT or ROTK. Has anyone else ever seen these?

And now for the big question, the theater lobbies now have the display of the front door of Bag End with Gandalf. Does anyone know where you can purchase these?

I check the official site and could find nothing of the kind being sold. Several theaters I have talked to said they can only give them away or throw them out and they are already spoken for with employees.

It's funny you mention this because when I went to the theatre for the midnight showing I saw it there over top of the doors. When I went back for the Saturday matinee a couple days later, it was gone. I asked and no one knew anything about it. I call shenanigans. I wanted that thing!

Just come back from seeing the Hobbit & there wasn't a single banner, standee or poster promoting the film?

From experience, theaters usually let their staff get first crack at them.
