I've been into Star Wars (OT) since the beginning, but only discovered SideShow and GentleGiant products etc 6 months ago by chance really.
I'm interested in display ideas beyond buying something and putting it in a display cabinet - nothing wrong with that at all, but I like the idea of designing and making my own display (give me a year or two!).
A recent visit to the Science Museum in London inspired me. A large black wall had 2 foot circular cut-out windows in it that you looked in to. Inside objects were lit with an out-of-sight spot light or two. The interior was dead black (dull black velvet I think to absorb any reflected light), so the objects really stood out - it looked great.
What a great forum - I'm looking forward to it.
