Just signed up the other week here, but have been aware of this place for a while. Long time collector of many things 1/6th scale and others. Mostly sci-fi movies/TV stuff, but made the 1/6th jump around 2000. Did the whole Dragon (WWII and modern), BBi (Cy-Girls and modern) and have a few of the early sideshow offerings like the early 00's Platoon and Buffy stuff. Now I mostly focus on the sideshow and phicen offerings for 1/6 and rarely get the smaller 6" and under stuff as I used to because I've got WAY too much of that stuff as it is!
Biggest collecting regret? Selling ALL of my original star wars figures from 1978-1983 for the insanely low price of $35 bucks in 1988.....of course I was still a kid then and $35 bucks for stuff I haven't played with in a few years seemed to me a great idea! Now I only have ONE remaining original from that bunch, a 1978 R2D2. Oh well!
I aim to have fun with it now vs. anything else.
