do you guys have any suggestions for the ultimate batman DX pose?
there are just way too many options for me and i'm not sure how to go about posing that sucker, also i'm not very good at coming up with a pose, and that figure deserves the most badass pose

so if you guys have any suggestions and could share, i'd greatly appreciate it

:)

I'm sure everybody has their secrets in posing.

Mine usually goes like this:
step 1: pose
step 2: go:gah:
step 3: find a different pose

rinse and repeat for a couple of hours
then voila...more :gah:

...eventually after a day or two...maybe even more, you'll finally go...I think I got it...dont breath...slowly let go of the figure....Ok...I think that's it :blissy

never thought of that ... how would you drape the cape? to the left or the right? :p

Cape wired up like he's jumping down, so he doesn't get any oil stains on it. :wink1:

Actually, I've always felt the movie poster pose is the best. Yeah, it's a bit bland, but it shows off the suit nicely and says everything it needs to.

I found it hard to get a pose I liked on the figure. My favourite was Bats stood behind the Joker sat in a chair, like the interrogation scene.

I'll see about finding some of my old pics.

Agreed.

I have had a lot of fun posing the DX02, but I ultimately have settled on the basic fists at side pose.

Some decent poses with the original HT cape and no neck modification:

These all are with custom capes:

The stock neck can look okay with the head bowed, but this pic ^^^ shows that at some angles it still looks too long. I never took pictures with the stock neck and the head looking up because the neck looks so ridiculous in that pose.

I believe that all the pics from here on have the modified (shortened) neck.

I've had a lot of fun posing this figure, but in the end this is my favorite long term display. ^^^

Looks like you got one of the DX's with the crooked abs. :(

That's how I have my first TDK suited Batman posed. As I'd mentioned earlier, that pose just says all it needs to say while showcasing the new suit in all it's glory. :D
