Hellraiser remake! ... maybe a GOOD thing?

In the original novel and the first two films, it's established that Clive Barker intended it not to be Hell.

I still don't get it. In the novella "The Hellbound Heart" it is very much implied that the cenobites are from hell. I guess I'll have to give it another read.

My question is, why? There's nothing wrong with the original. It's one of my favorite horror films. I agree that if Doug Bradley doesn't reprise his role as Pinhead then it won't be worth seeing. I read in an interview that he frowns upon Hollywood remakes.
