I just received my exclusive "Hulk vs. Spiderman" that I got off of ebay. Everything is perfect except for the traffic light's pole. It does not sit like it shows on the box or on Sideshow's pictures of the statue. As a result, the light sits too close to Hulk's arm and Hulk and Spidey don't seem to be mad doggin each other like they should. Is this a problem with all of the statues that were made? If so, is this something that can be fixed and how so? If I keep playing with my damn pole I might accidentally break it...:rotfl this imperfection is killing me...please help! Gracias!

this was a problem w/ quite a few, especially Spidey/poles that were sent out as replacements for the originals. my bud had one and when inserted it looked whacky as Spidey and Hulk weren't looking anywhere near each other and the streetlight was all up in Hulk's face. looked like those 2 were fightin lol. what we did was take a hair dryer on high and w/ the bottom of the pole inserted in the base, we heated up the lower part of the pole (using like a t-shirt inbetween to protect Hulk from heat), grabbed the top of the pole close to Spidey and GENTLY bent the pole into a more appropriate position.once it was almost like it shoulda been i told him we should stop it there even tho it wasn't sitiing perfectly. as i thought, the weight of Spidey and the top heavy pole continued to droop/move a little over the next day or so until it was in the perfect spot like it was supposed to be.

Hey i had this problem too. It looked like Spidey was about to kiss the Hulk's shoulder good night. I bought mine from a friend so I think the heat during shipping caused my problem. What I did was just gently and slowly bend the pole back just a little at a time. It works but be very careful because it could snap!

So let me get this straight...if someone helps me blow my pole it will soften up and bend...strange, I usually get a different reaction. I think i'll let my wife help me on this one :monkey1 :lol
Seriously though, thanks for the advice. I'll give that a try...hopefully I don't break it and watch $500+ go down the drain.
