I never thought I would be able to see them again this way with such clarity. Once again it proves that Lucas does the things he does to be stubborn and not because it can't be done.

George turned a blind eye to fan restorations like this but there's no guarantee Disney will do the same. I'd get these while they're readily available if you haven't already.

He did the whole trilogy. Right now only ANH has been redone based off the blu-ray transfers but ESB and ROTJ still look as good as pretty much any DVD right now.

Oh man, this looks amazing. I have been a huge star wars fan since i was a little kid and cannot stand the SE abominations. I didnt even know these despecialized editions existed until yesterday!
