UPDATE (06/24/14): Here are some new pics of my "Generation Kill" inspired Marine.
I changed his molded gloves to fabric gloves. They were a nightmare to put on, but so well worth, I believe. I changed his sunglasses to the Oakley M-Frame Strike sunglasses. Finally, I removed the binoculars. In the movie, Sgt. Colbert and his men used the scope on their rifles to view far away objects. Just need to do a bit of weathering and he'll be ready for the "Elvis1976 & Friends Custom Figure Show".
This "US Marine in Baghdad" was inspired by one of my favorite military movies, HBO's "Generation Kill".
Special thanks to Skiman's Workshop for the amazing headsculpt paintjob.
This figure, along with many others, will be on display at the "Elvis1976 & Friends Custom Figure Show" this October 12, 2014 in NYC.
