This is one of my favorite game box arts ever - probably top 5. But even as a kid, I thought the unnamed marine / Doomguy's hair was stupid. If the he was wearing the suit from the first game, I'd have loved the art much more.

Cool idea but I continue to have serious concerns about the paint quality of this company. Both pieces I got - heavy exclusive and portal turret had major paint flaws, I ended up have to return both. I then purchased another turret from reseller(yes really want one) and it had even worse paint issue by the light area.

Have given up on this company until I see otherwise, such a shame too because their characters are interesting.

Can't comment on the Heavy or Portal piece, but the Skyrim Dragonborn was a masterpiece, the amount of details is mind-blowing, and I haven't heard any paint issue so far (at least for the pieces we handled). Will definitely carry this Doom piece, looks unreal.

Yep, I have Dragonborn, Gordon Freeman, and the Headcrab Zombie and they are all fantastic. Seems like gagaliya was unlucky.

I have their Portal Turret and Gordan Freeman and love them both. I've played Doom since I was a kid and this has a huge nostalgia factor for me. Had to order this.

And, like many of you, I am keeping hopes high for a Doom 2 state based on the box art. Dream come true.

There aren't enough Doom collectibles out there.

Ordered the EX too. I have been waiting YEARS for something like this! Looking forward to seeing more!

Anyone know if they charged you at the time of placing the order? I chose to pay in full and they are saying I never paid but thought I did already....just curious. Looking forward to more Doom pieces.

I also have always hated the Doom II box art...he needed to be wearing the helmet!

Hurt Me Plenty!

DOOM ~Knee Deep in the Head~ Exclusive 29/350 - Gaming Heads

Latest arrival straight from 1993 shareware land!
I was curious about how this one would turn out and it is pretty awesome if I do say so! The scene depicting the famous cover is very well rendered, all the demons look great and the bullet effects are very nicely made as well. The base is pretty massive! The statue itself isn't huge (around 1:6) or high but to accommodate all those demons and lava is takes a fair amount of real estate.
The light-up feature is very nicely done (though it take 6 AAs!) and the lava light fluctuates nicely.
If you're a fan of 90s PC gaming it's frankly a must have!

An ok diorama but waaay too simplistic for a $400+shipp.

$250 max.

I wouldn't call it simplistic, i think it's a perfect representation of the game cover. But I do agree it's overpriced, I'd say an appropriate price would be $300-350.

Came out better than expected IMO. Glad I kept my order.
