I have this figure, and the paint, sculpt and proportional are outstanding. Doom guy will definitely grab your attention on the shelf, and the articulation is pretty solid too, especially for a figma (or at least, my experience with older figmas). he's a tall guy, and scales very well with figma and shf figuarts.
There's definitely a few negatives:
- elbow joints are ugly. It's what you'd expect from figma, but unfortunately they don't match the skin tone like the prototype did
- the shoulder joints are a little too far out. Not a massive deal as you can move the shoulder armour plates, but I think the joint could be further recessed into the body.
- the flame belch (shoulder cannon) is extremely delicate. Mine broke, and I've seen two separate accounts where the same thing has happened. I've fixed it with glue, but the plastic is too soft and brittle.
