Favourite Movie Song

Thought this would be an interested thread.

Having recently watched Man on Fire for like the 100th time and listening to this song on youtube all night long last night i had decided this was my favourite movie track.

For me it evokes so much emotion and takes me right into the film and just makes me want to watch it again and again

Danger Zone - Top Gun

Probably has more to do with the Nostalgia of the film for me than anything else. Top Gun was the first movie I ever saw in a cinema, when I was a toddler, got obsessed with it and watched it nearly every day as a kid. And then later in life got really heavily into hard rock / metal and this song probably first seeded that love for good rock and roll into me as well.

My favorite song in a movie might be "Murder by Numbers" by the Police, which was in some lame serial killer movie in the 1990s. My favorite song in terms of its relationship to and impact on a movie, is probably Procol Harem's "Whiter Shade of Pale" in the New York Stories segment with Nick Nolte as the artist.

You mean Sympathy for the devil, by Guns N' Roses (my fav band of all time). But I didn't like that cover too much. Also, that cover was the last straw that caused Axl and Slash to split up for good... (Axl over dubbed Slash's guitar parts with his friend Paul Tobias's guitar tracks...)

I hated that song in the end of Interview with the Vampire... such a ____ty remake that actually took me out of the film. It was so out of place, and an awful version

Don't know what my favorite song in a movie is... but I always loved the use of Carmina Burana in Excalibur.
