Up next are a couple that have been in the work for a very long time. Flash. My first RAH figure. I remember getting the straight arm version off the pegs at Montgomery Ward when they first came out. He was the one that stood out the most. I've never seen a proper 1/6 version made by anyone. They always give him some He-Man looking armor instead of actual pads.

Made his back a few years back for those that remember. Mando offered up some casts as well. Someone else was to make the pads, but ... yea. I made them myself, sewn by hand. He looks awesome on the shelf.

And you can't have one without the other. Grand Slam. Made the same way as Flash. Though his pads look a little better.

Awesome work on these EF! In my opinion, these are the two hardest characters of the original 13 to interpret.

I wish I had picked up the laser pack from Mando like I did with the Short Fuze and Breaker packs, because I have been working through ideas to do Flash and Grand Slam. I like the sewn pads too, because I have been trying to decide how to do them as well. I was toying with the idea of sculpted pads to mimic armor plates, but after seeing your interpretations of the characters, I my sew them instead.

Good Lord, Evil, your customs are gonna suck me back into collecting Joes. Your Tunnel Rat is another work of art. And I thought that was it for the pics. I go back a couple pages, and see the likes of Flash, Clutch, Short Fuze, and one of my faves, Breaker. If I saw your take on Low Light, I think I'd go blind from its glory. Thanks for posting.
