Re: Customs by The Fusion Brothers (Daryl and Rick Update)

I have been working on my Rick and Daryl some the past few days. New hair sculpt for Rick. I dirtied up and darkened Rick's jacket to better make the color and look of the one in the show. Major modification to Daryl's knife. I also painted on Daryl's tattoos; it was tough finding good photos, and then I had the trouble with the tiny details. I think they turned out rather well.

Sorry for the crappy phone pics.

What sculpt is that on Rick? Looks great

Re: Customs by The Fusion Brothers (Inspector Eastwood)

Thanks. It is the WGP head that I heavily modified to have longer hair.

Re: Customs by The Fusion Brothers (Harry, Rick, and Daryl)

Your rick shirt is fantastic. Are you willing to do a commission of that shirt?

Thank you! I'll look into it; I am not sure if I have any more material, and it takes a lot of dyeing to get the stains and right color.

Re: Customs by The Fusion Brothers (Harry, Rick, and Daryl)

Well, the Fusion Bros have been at it again. I have plenty of updates of Rick and Daryl I need to share, as well as some major mods on Star Wars guys, but today I post some new shtuff.

My Marty McFly:

New skateboard (slightly under-scaled, but it looks decent)

I'm also attempting to perfect my design of Marty's 1984 Aiwa Walkman. So, I should be able to post pics soon.

Re: Customs by The Fusion Brothers (Harry, Rick, and Daryl)

A few months ago I bought a Jean-Luc Picard figure by Dragon. The sculpt was crap, so I decided to use the head from the Playmates "Insurrection" Picard. The only thing about it was the size, too big. So, I shrunk it a little in acetone. Indiana painted the head. The waist band on the jacket needs to be replaced. I'm sure Indiana would have no problem.

Until such a time arrives, here's my favorite Starship Captain:

I will ask him. ;)

You can probably PM him, too. His handle is Indiana.

Re: Customs by The Fusion Brothers (TWD Season 4/5 Rick)

To elaborate on the above post, Rick's jacket was made from scratch, using brown suede and white "fleece-like" material. The gun was just in a parts/accessories drawer. Indiana painted it to match Joe's Smith & Wesson SW1911SC E-Series.
