Custom 1/6 scale Wolverine Project COMPLETED (minus tweaks)!!!

This is my Custom "Hugh Jackman" Wolverine project. The head is a cast of the original that a friend is painting for me. The claws are custom made using Metal Bobby Pins and Bruce Lee fists.
The Body is the Hot Toys Muscle Body.
The Jeans are from Newline Miniatures and the Tank & Boots are ACI.

I still have some work to do, but it's a fun one!

Yeah. I reversed them and went back and rooted them into the fists instead of gluing them. They hold ALOT better now!

I also made some "epic" length ones. not sure which I'm going to use yet...

I can't take complete credit. I read about using Bobby pins somewhere online but never got the full details so I filed the idea away in my head for later use. Turns out they work great! Once I get more fists I plan to make a few more. Think anyone would be interested in buying some if I made a short run available?

HERE IT IS! My custom/kitbash Wolverine!!!!

This custom is inspired by Days of Future Past. I see it as the "what if they made it a movie" version starring (who else?) Hugh Jackman!
I still have some tweaking to do but it's ready for it's debut!

So the breakdown:
The head is case from the Hot toys version and painted by my good buddy BillyB

The claws are my own custom creation with some cleanup from BillyB since I don't own a dremmel tool yet...

The cloths are all kitbash:
Jeans and boots bought from Newline Miniatures
Coat is from the VTS Virtual Toys Explorer

I plan to do the entire diorama at some point with Kitty and the comic cover background. It will be a while before that's done though...
