Yeah but I first joined to talk info about a statue with mass issues and a lot of the conversation seems to focus on people priced out of the collection or some QC issues...

I still like their stuff but I'm cautious with them. They've sent me many broken items and been argumentative about replacing

That's the price of growth. I get the feeling that they have become to commercialised, but with great power comes.....crappy QC issues? SS do put out some great pieces and a big variety/ range of licenses. They do interact, maybe not as much, but anything is OK as some don't bother at all..

Spook has always been about marketing and getting rid of old inventory. So many of you have no clue. It was really fun years ago but the bitching and complaining has changed it forever and the more you people ***** and complain here and all over social media they will just make it less and less. You can than yourselves.

The fact that over half the codes are $2..... and the prices of statues have gone up $100-300 the last 2 years pretty much tells you that Spook is just here now to promote the company and build the brand.

$2 code.

Think of that.

Yeah, I was taken aback by that when I plugged in my first code and saw it was $2. Not exactly complaining, after all it is free money, but before the lowest RP was worth $5 - then $10, $15, $20 etc. Now I'm seeing $2 and $12. I guess they're trying to save a couple bucks.

Tell me about it.lol Literally, the only reason I signed up to Twitter was for Spook, and I hate Twitter.

Gotta be honest, Spook has sort of lost some of its luster for me.

If they remember seeing the same discounts year after year they would understand. I remember the jokes of pooling money to buy Van Helsing and 4ft Frank just so they would stop showing up every year. Even prizes were mostly stuff they wanted to urgent rid of. Old Buffy figures stuff like that.

I don't feel entitled to any of this and I honestly have enjoyed the discounts on in stock products more than the reward points in years past. My problem is that Sideshow is trying to hype up this event yet what they are offering is not very exciting.
