Sh** I sure hope not! :horror I actually just put the jacket back on for the pics. I have heard about that happening but I haven't seen it yet.

King I of course saw those AMAZING T1 shots you took yesterday and I'm guessing you are using something like a DSLR or more professional type camera. I have a Canon point and click that does a pretty decent job and I'm experimenting with light and trying to push it's limits.

I know I can't get shots like the ones you've been coming up with but from fellow freaks perspectives...how are my shots turning out?

Washed out? Unclear? Long shot...but fantastic? That kind of feedback is what I'm looking for so that I can maybe try some new things if need be.

Thanks in advance, anyone is welcome to comment of course!

Yeah, be careful leaving the jacket on the exposed body to long or it can stain.

And no, I dont have a nice camera. Its actually a $90 Samsung point and shot I picked up from Radio Shack a couple years ago. Thanks for the compliments though!

I think your pix look good, just a little fuzzy is all. I'm not much help with critiquing photos, dont really know anything about photography, someone like Maulfan could give you some good tips I am sure.

:lol really? Could have fooled me! Those T1 shots were epic! Maybe it's just that I'm still in awe of the kollection? It's warping my mind and eyes! :horror
Seriously they look great man!

Thanks for the feedback! I've been messing with some stuff recently and I think the pics have been better overall. There's still room for some improvement! I'm just interested in what everyone else is seeing when they look at the thread.

Re: Chigger58's "Game Over Man" Gaming/Collectible Room.

You have a great setup, very good pieces too.

Thank you! I've enjoyed putting it together.

BTW, every time I read a response from you on the board I envision Will Ferrell saying it to me just like he looks in your signature! :lol

You take some awesome pics. I am thinking about improving the quality of mine as well. Pass on any tips!! :)
Your dutch poses are pretty sweet!

Wow, impressive shot!

Great collection room, the 2 Detolfs flanking the TV look very cool. And the third Detolf in the corner with the posters looks great as well, love the colors.

I hate posing Dutch! :gah::lol I enjoyed taking some extra shots of him for my collection but there is just something about that figure that makes me nervous. Thanks for the compliment though!

Picture wise, I don't have anything spectacular like some here. I'm using a point and shoot Canon Powershot Elph SD 870 IS. It's a nice camera for what it is, but I'm still experimenting with how to get the best shots for my environment and regarding the subjects...collectibles.

Mostly I've been experimenting by adding lightsources such as one tall lamp, a lamp without the shade on, and then of course the overhead light. I've been snapping all the recent photos against a backdrop (blankets) in my gaming room.

Then I upload the photos in my PC and start messing with some VERY basic HP editing software. Cropping, some lighting, exposure, black and white, etc. It's nothing like Photoshop or some of the stuff you see on here, very basic stuff.

Send them to Photobucket, upload them here, wala...some photos that get the job done but could use improvement! :lol

I really appreciate the feedback you've given me and any more that other people provide in the future. Pics of these fantastic collectibles that people have bought, quality aside, are just fun to look at overall. I thoroughly enjoy looking at all the collections on this forum, large or small. I just like challenging myself to see if I can create something unique looking and that I'm really happy with. Makes you feel great when you achieve a shot you're REALLY proud of when you know you're not using a top of the line camera to do it!

Thank you and thanks for taking the time to stop in and comment.

The color of blue that I have on my walls is my favorite color besides black and the wife didn't think that was a good idea...so blue it was! So far it's gone really well with anything I've collected, especially my Batman collection.

Thanks Bob! :hi5:

There aren't as many Transformer's as you have in your amazing collection but I make do! :wink1:

Speaking of Transformer's, the next set of photos I'll be uploading is that part of my collection. Probably at the very end of this week or beginning of the next.

Appreciate you stopping by, cheers!

Awesome collection my friend. I'm too afraid to even move
King Leonidas arms at all. I see you where having fun with him.

Yeah it's a little scary at first. I don't mind it as much as Dutch though. That one is still a pain in the ass!

Thanks for stopping by man. :hi5: I really enjoyed checking out your video and seeing your pics. You have an awesome set up and we have similar figures so of course they rock! :rock :wink1:
