Go to Games Workshop Sabres and buy "Arcoat Gloss Varnish" its a clear paint which gives a slick look and above all protects paint from chipping or fading they use it on the models they build and paint.

I use it on all my HT Predator bodies before assembling them

Thanks dude. But I'm not so much worried about the paint as I am the deterioration of the rubber. I'm really after something that can protect it from dry rot.
