The squad for the 2013 tour to Australia has just been announced and there've been some surprise inclusions, and some notable exclusions.

I think Gatland has made some terrible calls to be honest. Bowe and Croft make the squad despite barely playing this year. No Best, Robshaw, Brown or Wilinson, but he includes Matt Stevens and Gethin Jenkins?
Claims he won't pick players based in France if it'll intefere with their travel plans, then picks Jenkins who will be playing the Top 14 final the day before the Lions fly. Picks Jenkins, who can't even get in the starting XV at Toulon, but leaves out Wilkinson?
Will see how the first few games go, but I just think he's taken players he likes, rather than who will win him the series.
