I've only just discovered this thread. John (can I call you John?), your work is astounding!

I'm about to embark on my first 1/6 paintjob, so any tips you can give would be massively appreciated. Do you use acrylics?

That's Van Zan (Matthew McConaughey) from Reign of Fire.
A figure release I'm doing and the only bad ass character McConaughey ever played...

No really, thanks John, here's how he ended up.
This is what a great paint app can do for a great sculpt.
I got him a little dirty.... But didnt cover up any of the
great detail work on the viens and scar.

Just amazing! You do realize, that everyone who bought this sculpt
from me, now want's you to paint it.
