Best Buy Geek Squad Protection/Coverage

Is an additional $8.99 for 2-year Geek Squad Protection worth it for a $70 beard trimmer? I know those things break all the time but I'm not familiar with Best Buy Geek Squad coverage, I've only heard some people get it for TVs or printers or more expensive items.

Depends on what it all covers but I normally never get protection plans for anything under $100. Most things usually have a 90 day warranty on them anyways.

The better question is, how the crud monkeys at Best Buy's Geek Squad can fix a beard trimmer when they struggle with basic PC repairs?
