I just ordered volumes 25-31. I've been putting it off and off but I'm going to finish out the line by the middle of next month.

It was posted a ways back, but I HATE that Dark Horse changed the spines of the manga... now anything beyond vol.24 on my shelf is a different spine. So I assume this year I'll have to go back and buy them AGAIN. So idiotic to do that.

Found some, not sure on what / who makes good stuff in the realm of Berserk.
Some even just seemed like custom pieces.

The art direction is great, but that likeness is ****ed.

Agreed. The faces don't scream Guts to me:
-cheekbones are too pronounced
-nose is a little too thin
-face is a little too long
-front hair spikes look a little too high/long
-hair has a slightly shiny finish
-head looks small compared to the overall body proportions
-brows aren't even that accurate



Also the cape is too Western superhero-looking, isn't it supposed to be more flowy/wavy?

It's a big pass for me.
It's really funny how many different renditions of Guts's face we have by now,
-RAH => anime/cartoonish look, but still accurate
-Threezero => more realistic look but inaccurate face
-Gecco => more realistic-looking too and most accurate face I'd say
-Prime 1 => realistic but not super accurate

We still have First 4 Figures and Tsume's Guts to go...I feel like Gecco has the best heads, now if only they would re-release their statue...

Gecco's was good. Slightly idealized it still had the recognizeable features of Guts and the smirk face I liked, but again, idealized. This one is a mess, and I can't wrap my mind around people drooling over it.

I criticized the Threezero headsculpt very heavily, but I still could recognize it. And it looks better in person, but in the end, it's a weak headsculpt since it was giving such a zombie stare and the hair wasn't right.

Medicom's captured the right intensity, but it was Animeish, but I still think it works. Better than the rest of the stuff out there. Although, I prefer Threezero's overall package.

Lil bit that vampire smiling face is laughable.

Good catch on the eyebrows, it's the main contributor as to why it's so wrong.
