Actually, to me he nailed it. Craig is built, well toned, but he is not big like Hugh Jackman type.
With the suit on, he looks slim.

The narrow or slim have always had the more natural look.
The regular true type is great with something that doesnt really show off the body, like a guy in a armor.
I think those cheap, but excellent Kumik body would look great with this.

The Slim body is for a young Luke Skywalker or Bruce Lee. In neither of those Craig images above does he look teenage slim.

Nor in this one.

Or these:

And in the second picture of the previous post you also see a perfect example of broad shoulders. People fluctuate in weight and actors do it for roles all the time, so it's always going to be possible to find one or a couple of images that show an extreme in either direction. That said, Daniel Craig has never been anything remotely close to a slim body type in any Bond movie.

For sale soon! Awesome!

I don't see the issue with what bbkill told us regarding the body. He probably just meant this wasnt intended for use on a muscular body like the arnie/wolverine bodies. At least I hope so. You could probably still use this on an advanced if you wanted to:

Thats as big as youd want to go for craig anyway.

The body you all refer to as Regular, as in what HT tend to use a lot now, is what they released as the Narrow Shoulder TrueType. They haven't used the original broad shouldered version since that came out.

The one everybody copies is the Narrow. With suits and clothes on the Narrow is the right body, BBKill hasn't blown anything. These heads should be just right. Panic over!

:slap

I can't believe there's still confusion about Hot Toys terminology today. "Regular" is what Hot Toys refers to these bodies as. They're the typical 1/6 representation of a fit 6' tall male figure. They have previously released a similar body as "Advanced" - which is not to be confused with the new "Advanced Muscular." And some of their bodies were also released with a sub-note of "Narrow Shoulder" - these are all REGULAR bodies. 6' tall fit adult male at 1/6 for a 12" figure - not a 12.5" and not 11.5", but 12" with head and un-shoed.

SLIM has always meant a completely different body type. Now if BB does not mean SLIM, then he should not write SLIM. If he means NARROW, then that's the same as REGULAR and he should not write that it won't work on a regular. The only confusion here is from BB's post.

I do see your point about using slim and you are right, I forgot about the slim being shorter and Bond should at least be as tall as the other figures.

But as far as you using the term "Regular", that's where people have confused your statement...
In most cases, when you refer to a truetype as just Reg, it means the older type (Basic) Truetype
So Regular is not the same as Narrow.
You see these being sold all the time on For sale thread and they usually label them as just "Regular" (older) Truetypes.
Narrow and Advanced are usually specified cause they're a lot better bodies than "Regular" truetype.

Daniel Craig is not actually 6 feet tall, but 5'10" tall, so the non-slim bodies would actually be a little tall for him, but it's the build that's most disconcerting on the slim.

But as far as you using the term "Regular", that's where people have confused your statement...

I'm referring specifically to official Hot Toys terminology and to what BBKill wrote in his post. Again, if there's any confusion, it's at the source, not in my references to it. We need clarification and it's why I said I'm definitely not buying until I see someone with a sculpt in hand trying it on the most suitable bodies for Craig. Old Advanced, Old Narrow Version, knock-offs of those, and current Regular. TTM14, TTM16, TTM18 and TTM21

In most cases, when you refer to a truetype as just Reg, it means the older type (Basic) Truetype
So Regular is not the same as Narrow.

Hot Toys BASIC is their line of naked bodies. By all accounts they didn't use this branding on their previous naked figure releases.

Hot Toys usually has at least three naked bodies available at any one time.

The current assortment of BASIC bodies consists of the following releases:

TTM20 Advanced Muscular Body (much bigger than any previous "Muscular Version" releases)
TTM21 Regular Body (has bigger arms than previous releases)
TTM22 Slim Body

This is the first time they have used "Regular" to denote a set as far as I know. Previously the sets were CAUCASIAN, AFRICAN AMERICAN and ASIAN with versions in Narrow Shoulder, Advanced and Muscular.

Here you can see someone's mostly complete list of Hot Toys basic figures from the past: https://alstoys.wordpress.com/2012/07/10/hot-toys-truetype-body-list/

The build of older Advanced, Narrow Version and current Regular is all pretty much the same. That is to say, very different from Muscular versions past and present, and slim. "Advanced," "Narrow," and "Regular" are all Hot Toys' regular (in the middle) body types.

If someone says "Regular" and they mean a body that's distinctly different than the current TTM21, then they're using that term incorrectly.

Yes, there might be a language barrier, so that should be taken into
consideration.

Everyone is also welcome to voice an opinion, but it should be worded
as such. We want an artist to stay and create more heads, not be turned
off by someones post, before a clear understanding is found.

So lets not pull the trigger first and ask questions later. I think
that's already a proven method of failure...:) So ask straight
forward questions.

I also think people sometimes forget what a public offerring is.

If you didn't commission and pay to have the heads made, you
have no say. That's just the ways it goes in a public offering.
If people don't like what they see, then they don't have to buy it.

Remember; this happened on the first DC & Lisbeth head.
But they turned out just fine.

So everyone should just keep that in mind.

I couldn't agree more. It is a blessing to have talented artists share their work. :rock
