New update finally from Asmus. Looks like Waiden is right in that they are required to release all the main characters at the same time. Hopefully they go up for pre-order soon! Any guesses on what the pricing and release time? This'll be my first time getting something from Asmus. Definitely worried about any potential QC issues since I saw complaints about them in their other figures.

I'm excited for sure but what's up with Fushiguru's wrist they look like rubber from a seamless body. That would make no sense to do that with these when you want see the bodies, Hopefully it's nothing bad though.

I feel the cut of the clothing and fabric looks better with Asmus but I don't think either party is better than the other in terms of the headsculpts. I would give Threezero a slight advantage with the unmasked Gojo sculpt but Asmus has more options in total which is good. I guess this will come down to price but I don't see myself buying any of the Threezero even at the price they have set.

Yeah I think the clothing on Asmus looks better and has better proportions. Looks more well fitted for the bodies they're using.

Everything else though Threezero has them beat, at least on the likeness of the sculpts. Something about Asmus sculpts look off.

Asmus Yuji is missing the likeness imo. 3z Yuji definteily has better likeness. Asmus made him cuter almost than his anime/manga counterpart lol.i Asmus Sukuna head is great tho. Hard for me to justify for Asmus when I already have the 3z.

Asmus Gojo unmasked face definitely is better than 3z. His hair is much more detailed and painted better. But his unmasked face is definitely off looking lol. It doesn't even look like him and feels like the hair style is also wrong.

Price is definitely the deciding factor here. Also anyone got any Asmus's recent releases? I know they had some QC concerns in the past but not sure about recently.

The sukuna head is amazing and the expressions are definitely superior to threezero but yeah the sculpts are really off

Definitely would of been nice to have a lot more face options with the threezero but I think I am happy with my threezero jjk figures so I will stick with them

Feel like threezero will probably do a shirtless yuji or something with a sukuna sculpt eventually, so I will wait for that

I agree about the hair being a lot nicer and detailed on the asmus but his masked sculpt just doesn’t resemble gojo for me like his face shape seems wrong, and doesn’t have his little sticky out ears haha

Love the different gojo expressions on the asmus one but don’t think its enough for me to make the switch

Also about the Asmus QC not too sure how its been recently, heard the DMC stuff is really good but the Ash figure seemed awful and you always hear about quality decline in full release

I just feel with threezero the prototype pretty much is always the same in full release

For Gojo, the laughing and funny portrait I think are very spot on, the bare portrait is so off though. Especially when compared to the beautiful likeness delivered by Threezero. For Yuji, what really impressed me is the Sukuna or "Sakuna" sculpt as Asmus called it.

But I believe I'm more than satisfied with the Threezero releases of Gojo and Yuji (currently in transit) in my collection. I'm interested to see if they include a manic laughter sculpt for Megumi to recreate this moment:

Regarding Asmus QC and releases though, I feel there is ALWAYS a decline from Prototype > Final Product. The only product I saw and I was amazed was the Gandalf the White which went out for pre-order and release at the same time. I own all DMC5 figures and only Dante and maybe V come close to their game courterparts in likeness. Nero and Vergil are way off.

Gojo is awesome. Will try and get some better pics later. The body isn’t as good as ThreeZero or TT but it’s still does a good job and awesome for the price.

I also started to look for the asmus figures since Im watching the second season (I really like it) but after seen Gojo , I'm gonna go with the threezero line

The headsculpt its everything to me

Not going to lie, I just want the Divine dog & The Well's Unknown Abyss from Megumi and I wish the Threezero had a Sukuna headsculpt...I really think the way they tackled the head sculpts are a shame, Megumi's hair is gigantic it's so off, I do think Sukuna looks the best out of them all but jeez man that Nobara and Yuji just look so dead inside imo..I love how many there are but I'd much rather 2 or 1 heads that look spot on than 4 that look rushed or have spotty likenesses.. I was going to pick up both 3Z and Asmus but it looks like I'll just be grabbing the Asmus YuYu Hakusho line and wait until they try something else
