Those are on 11"x17" card stock, the resolution isn't any less, it just looks glossy in comparison. The HQ ones are 13"x19" on really nice textured paper.

I have a few of the 13 X 19 ones. I guess if he wants to print them on 11 X 17 paper, he can. The 13 X 19 will still be worth getting.

Looks like he's gonna reprint it again though, so you may still have a chance to get it.

Is he going to reprint the 'limited edition' again or the lower quality ones?

Is the lower quality mean its going to be smaller or printed using low resolution?

The lower quality prints are exactly that, lower quality... they are nice, but when you see a limited edition print, you notice a huge difference. Lower quality look like a high quality print job at Kinkos, Limited edition look like they are an actual watercolor painting with sharp/vivid colors. I'm not an artist, so maybe I don't know how to best describe the difference, but there is an obvious difference. When you put them behind mylar in a portfolio, it is less obvious, but out in the open they really shine.

Here's a few of my faves...

Even when he's just drawing cartoon/video game characters, I just love the JSC style. Definitely my favorite artist, bar none.

After ordering all the new stuff (except Neytiri ) I decided to get all the available sketch books as well. I should just have my work print a pay check out to the JSC store 1X a year.

Original Shades of Gray - 36 copies left

All others seem to have 100+ copies, with "Code Orange" and the "2007 Chicago" being sold out of course.
